The Community Bulletin Board has information on local events and runs between programs. It also airs on a regular schedule at 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. for 30 minutes, five days a week, on Channel 22.  *Please note that all programming on DCAT Channel 22 must be noncommercial in nature. Public access gives you and your neighbors the opportunity to inform, entertain, and speak out for yourselves, in your own words. Unlike broadcast television and commercial cable services that deliver programs to you, public access is programming by and for you. You pick the topic, you write the script, you run the camera, and you edit the video. Today, thousands of public access channels exist on cable systems across the country. The channels are as diverse as the communities they serve. They, like us, are discovering and creating the resource public access provides: Television by and for the community. Durango Community Access Television is a Colorado non-profit 501(c)3 organization that broadcasts on Bresnan cable channel 22. DCAT does not sell advertising or programming time. Instead we rely on memberships, donations, grants and underwriting from the community, businesses, foundations, the City of Durango, and La Plata County.
